Sensei John Deans, Regional Officer for West and South Regions of JKA Scotland, hosted the most recent Kyu Grading examinations at The Training Station Saltcoats on 4/6/2023. This was Sensei Johns first opportunity to have world famous Sensei Ohta 7th Dan JKA, Chief Instructor for England, lead the course and exams. Image below shows Sensei Ohta and Sensei John Deans. John stated that Sensei Ohta has been attending schools, local authority halls and church halls for over 3 decades in Ayrshire.
